Concern

On July 31, 2013, Foundation in Covenant signed an agreement of cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Culture. In this agreement, Foundation in Covenant proposed to carry out a diagnosis of the conditions in the ten schools chosen by the MEC (Ministry of Education and Culture).

This diagnosis was centered on the task of the teacher. After signing the agreement, visits were made to the chosen schools, where interviews, questionnaires, workshops, formal and informal dialogue were carried out with directors, teachers, parents and students. With the data obtained from the diagnosis that was carried out, PORÃVE PARAGUAY was born, because we believe that a quality education is possible by making the training of teachers a priority.

The objectives are:

1. To train teachers in three main areas: Reading/Writing, Personal Development, and Management of school violence.

2. To offer training spaces to the school directors to accomplish better community management and to strengthen their leadership.

Foundation in Covenant is a non-profit civil institution created in 1991 by a group of independent professionals and businessmen attached to the Schoenstatt Apostolic Movement that accomplish tasks in different areas of social life, and who felt they were called to collaborate in the transformation of the country through programs and educational projects, which through cultivating values, will have influence upon the dignity ofthe Paraguayan people.
