This is how a couple described their experience on 18 January after the sending out celebration of the first course at the Joseph Kentenich Academy for Family Pedagogy in Spain. For two years, five Spanish couples met on ten weekends, two weeks during the summer to complete their training as family trainers.
They were overjoyed as they received their certificates from Cardinal Rouco Varela who attended the ceremony and celebrated the Eucharist. He sent them out to their “future tasks” and encouraged them “to continue to grow in depth as couples, so that your task at the service of other families will be fruitful and that they will also be a joy for you”.

Based on Father Kentenich’s pedagogy, the Academy for Family Pedagogy does not prioritize the transmission of knowledge but rather enkindles life in life. “The Academy allowed us to grow as a couple in ways we had never imagined”, another couple said.
