CHILE/ARGENTINA, Father José María Iturrería. Father José María Iturrería. On March 15th, some Argentineans and Chileans participated in a pilgrimage to Christ the Redeemer, Father Mariano Irrureta; the Provincial superior of the Schoentatt Fathers from Chile was among them.
Boys from Mendoza’s Boys’ Youth finished the construction details that were lacking at the MTA Wayside Shrine of the Andes, and they also placed objects from the pilgrims who participated in the “Ark of the Centenary”, as well as a copy of Vinculo magazine that reported on Mary’s Crusade. Marcos Tejada, of the Boys’ Youth did the construction work.
Everyone is still impressed by the consequences of Mary’s Crusade, thanks to the articles that were sent “live” and the covenant solidarity in which hundreds of Schoenstatters from all generations accompanied this Jubilee Year Crusade, a jubilee gift from the international Boys’ Youth. The “ark of the centenary”, at the foot of the wayside shrine, contains the contributions of hundreds of Schoenstatters…offerings, prayers, sacrifices, petitions, and commitments.

I know the emotion of arriving at the Blessed Mother’s Shrine after days of walking. But yours were 400 Km. and mine barely 150.
You have climbed up one of the highest mountain ranges on the planet and I usually walk through plains with small inclines.
I have accompanied [you all] with my prayer, with my capital of grace and also with my daily work, which sometimes is hard to do because I do not like it and it is boring and there have been times that in order to gain courage I say to myself shouting: Mary’s Crusade…GOING FORWARD!
Thank you for your courage which has given me the strength to live the Covenant of Love better. Looking at the photos and the videos, one thinks “IT IS WORTHWHILE!” try to be different than the world in which we live, it does not matter if one suffers or if a few understand it, “IT IS WORTHWHILE!”
There are those who shout “Mary’s Crusade…go forward” at the beginning of translation, when going to the peripheries to distribute clothes to the poor or to build houses of solidarity, upon seeing piles to be ironed or when accompanying those who need “a little bit more”…
