URUGUAY, Soledad Gattas. The year 2013 is closing with the joy of having shared a year of projects and accomplishments! The Schoenstatt Family from Uruguay has been preparing for 2014, strengthening their unity with several Branch gatherings and that of the entire family.
Retreats, talks, meetings, workshops, crusades, Masses, rosaries, and celebrations made it a year of great activity within the Year of the Faith and on the road of Jubilee 2014!
We proposed to get to know one another, to share, to support one another and to unite in the motto: “In Covenant, We go for your mission!”
We celebrated the 70th Anniversary of the First Daughter Shrine, the Shrine of Nueva Helvecia, with a celebration of Faith and Covenants!
We are conquering new hearts for Mary!!
For the future Shrine of Montevideo
We grew in our social and pedagogical commitment with the building of the Providence Secondary School, which continues the work of Providence Center for children and adolescents in the neighborhood of Casabó and classes will begin in February 2014.
We gathered the family and its youngest members around a living manger in the oratory of Montevideo.
And we closed the year with the arrival of the Altar for the future Shrine of Montevideo conquered by the Rosary Campaign.
During this jubilee year…
We feel blessed by the Blessed Mother! Called to reinforce our commitment to be instruments and to grow in the Covenant spirit.
To dream about the Shrine of Montevideo, to offer capital of grace to conquer it!
We want to share our longing and the blessings we received during this year with everyone!
In our smallness a word is enough for God to work a miracle. During this Jubilee year, we allowed God to manifest himself in our covenant, the covenant of the small ones. In this way, 2014 will be a year of grace.
And we continue to share the Jubilee Centenary with the entire Schoenstatt Family…Happy 2014!
