With You, Parents of a New World

ARGENTINA, Lilita and Carlos Ricciardi. Last Tuesday evening, January 22, Jorge González Belo, 61, died of a cardiac arrest.  It was brought on after thieves entered his home.  Jorge was a member of the 1st Family Federation course in Argentina “With You, Parents of a New World.”  In less than two months, the course has lost Marcelo Bulfón and now Jorge González Belo, being the third to go home to the Father along with Carlos Cornacchia.  On January 26th, at the “Toward 2014” Mass, his name was placed on the altar of the Original Shrine, and his picture was placed along that of Marcelo Bulfón in this holy place.

Victim of violence

The very special circumstances of his demise, after thieves entered his home while he was dining with his family, have aroused expressions of pain and suffering throughout the entire city and a feeling of rage and impotence.

The daily newspaper reads:

A family was dining peacefully at home in Ringuelet when suddenly the evening became an inferno that ended in tragedy: delinquents entered the home and subdued everyone there and then escaped.  The attack was so dramatic that when the thieves fled, one of the owners of the home suffered a cardiac arrest and died, informed the legal authorities.  The terrible chain of events began around 11:30 P.M., when armed delinquents burst into the home.  Apparently, the family members were dining at that hour, and the thieves immediately subdued them.  It appears that four hooded men, presumably minors, broke into the home through an open window.  In no time, they subdued their victims, and then went through the home searching for valuables.  Law enforcement sources pointed out that apparently, when the robbers left – and due to nervousness suffered during the attack – one of the members of the family identified by the police as Jorge Ricardo González, 61, suffered cardiac arrest.  Facing that desperate scene, other relatives of the victim immediately called a service for medical assistance and minutes after an ambulance arrived at the dramatic scene – and in spite of resuscitation attempts, the man died…

A simple person

In every sense of the word, Joge has been an excellent person, loved and respected by everyone…a simple person, friendly, joyful and helpful.  He looked after Marcelo Bulfón until his last days.

Eduardo Dedomenicci from Course 2 defines him clearly in a letter of farewell:

“Jorge…I have always admired you because of your spiritual childlikeness that made you a favorite child of God.  I have especially loved you because of those never lacking hugs of yours, which made me feel special to you.  I have respected you because you have always been an instrument of peace and reconciliation in the somewhat tense situations experienced by the Family.  Today, I will be grateful that you intercede for your Federation, for your course and for all those who will painfully begin to dream of seeing you and seeing us transfigured in our Tabor with the Father.”

The course brothers and sisters ask for a special prayer for Jorge’s eternal rest and for the consolation of his wife, Kuky, their children and grandchildren.
