SCOTLAND, John Burns. Yes, joy of joys, the Pilgrim Mother is coming to Campsie in Scotland! The Auxiliar Pilgrim Mother, currently touring Europe, will arrive at the Shrine on the 2nd of March and will remain with the Schoenstatt Family of Scotland until the end of April.
The Pilgrim Mother is an exact replica of the one which John Pozzobon carried throughout Brazil. He took the MTA into homes to encourage families to pray the Rosary and to create a lasting devotion to Our Lady and her Son.
At the end of this long pilgrimage, the Auxiliar Pilgrim Mother will be crowned in a splendid Crowning Ceremony in Schoenstatt Germany on the 8th of September this year. Representatives from all over Europe will gather together on that day to celebrate this wonderful occasion. Everyone is welcome to be there if possible to honour their MTA.
Celebrations at Campsie to honour the Pilgrim Mother:
- Sunday 4th March – Special welcoming Devotions will be held at 3.30pm
- Sunday 22nd April – Rally organised by the Scottish Pilgrim Mother Circle at 12 noon
This rally will be for everyone who has been involved in the Pilgrim Mother Campaign and for all those who wish to honour our beloved MTA.
Coincidence? Saturday 3rd March is the Holy Mass “toward 2014” in Covenant with Scotland.
Nothing is coincidence, Father Kentenich would tell us….It’s DIVINE PROVIDENCE, or I’ve heard a "God Moment" too
