SPAIN, Schoenstatt Communication Madrid. On November 19th, continuing the European Pilgrim MTA crowning current, our Mother in Cabañas Raras (León) was crowned as “Education Queen of the new man of the family.”
During a workshop in which all the Spaniards were in reflective mood – before elections- the Schoenstatt Family from Bierzo celebrated a crowning Eucharist in a simple ceremony, but one full of emotion and depth.
To the Wayside Shrine
Father D. Ramiro, pastor of Cabanas Raras, presided at the Eucharist accompanied by con-celebrant, Father D. Juan, Pastor of the Saint Peter of Bembibre Parish. The crowning ceremony began after communion. The crown was offered during the ceremony, which was full of confidence in the Queen’s power. After the rite, a procession departed with the Queen to the grounds, where the Blessed Mother’s Wayside Shrine is located. During the procession, they prayed the Holy Rosary, and the ceremony concluded with the singing of “Hymn of the Pilgrim MTA” with great emotion and fervor.
Afterwards there was an agape meal at the parish house where Sister Maria del Mar, the new leader of the National Secretariat of the Pilgrim MTA, was welcomed.
Then a meeting with the leaders of the area to evaluate and to project the future took place.
An important moment for the family from Bierzo
It was an event filled with emotions and life, where the Mother and Queen gave them good weather, so that many could attend this important moment for the Family from Bierzo uniting it with the European crowning current, which will conclude in the Original Shrine on September 8, 2012. At that time, the Pilgrim MTA will be crowned as “Queen of the New Evangelization of Europe.”
