The Passionate Guardian of That Which We Call Our Mystery, Our Secret Strength, Our Testament, Our Treasure

ARGENTINA, Fr. Pablo Pol. As the best way to celebrate the birthday of the Father and Prophet, Wednesday, Nov. 16th, after the 8:00 P.M. Mass, a statue of St. Joseph will be enthroned in the downtown Shrine in Confidentia, Buenos Aires. It has been a long time since someone took it. It was never heard about since then. It now wants to return to be with all of the pilgrims in the Shrine, and also with the Virgin and Child.

The family must be united. The Holy Family also. The Shrine is the common place where we feel we are family and we experience the power of healing attachments. Once again the Family questions itself and gambles on a society which does not respect the life of the most defenseless ones, and sufferes a serious illness of the heart. May the arrival of St. Joseph – a just and righteous man – lead us to a strong commitment to defend the most defenseless ones and may our Shrine offer a home and light today for our Argentinean society.

Joseph, arise

Throughout the year, while two images were on pilgrimage to the homes of the members from different Branches, the entire Family was united in prayer for the two Shrines in the capital city, thus supporting the spiritual conquest.

They desire that the figure of St. Joseph renews in each one of them the impression which the Father and Founder wanted to give to it.

“Joseph, arise and take the Child…..” What task did St. Joseph have? That of taking care of the Mother and the Child. He had this task and still has it even today: to take care that the Mother is never separated from the Child, nor the Child from his Mother.

“Joseph, arise…..” Do you also know that here we refer to our Schoenstatt mystery, our mystery of Mary? How is the Blessed Virgin always before us? Like the great bearer of Christ. We always speak of a twofold point of irrruption, from the natural world to the supernatural world and viceversa. The common point of irruption is the Blessed Virgin. What does this mean? Mary is the whirpool which attracts toward Christ, Christ’s waterfall. According to the measure in which we are attached to the Blessed Virgin and we give Her to our own, we will see Her as Christ’s whirpool. If we are pulled along by a waterfall, we cannot go back. Therefore, the Mother of God is the “waterfall” of Christ, the whirlpool of Christ.

“Joseph, arise, take the Child and his Mother! Who is St. Joseph? It is the Family. Take the Child and his Mother! Just like St. Michael, St. Joseph is also not the only guardian of the Blessed Sacrament, but the pasionate guardian of that which we call our mystery, our secret power, our testament, our treasure. The Blessed Virgin is the Great Educatress who leads us to Christ.

Now we consciously direct ourselves to the Great Educatress. A Patre! Both received from the Father (Christ and Mary) the task of guiding the world back to the Father. Ad Patrem!

A Eucharistic celebration will take place on Wednesday, November 16th at 8:00 P.M. and afterward, the enthronement of St. Joseph in the Shrine.
