How I met the MTA –in Canada

CANADA, Iwona Pawelec. I met the MTA, the Mother Thrice Admirable of Schoenstatt, through my friend, Barbara who lives in Toronto and is already a missionary. Through her, I came to know about the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign.

There is a large Polish community in Kitchener, and when I shared the story of Pilgrim Mother with some friends, they were very enthusiastic about it.

I also shared the Schoenstatt spirituality with a friend of mine in Vancouver, British Columbia, and she has expressed the desire to become a missionary. I hope and pray that many lives and hearts will be transformed through the Pilgrim MTA. However, if we could find some Polish booklets it would be more helpful. Anyway I am looking forward to being a missionary and bringing the Pilgrim Mother to others.

She works miracles

I would like to share a story with you about a miraculous healing that took place in Guelph, Ontario. Lucy, who is a member of the prayer group here in Kitchener and is also a missionary, had been diagnosed with breast cancer. She has always had a deep devotion to Our Lady and happened to have the Pilgrim Mother in her home that brought her great comfort.

At that time, a Franciscan priest by the name of Father Sylvester was holding a healing Mass. Lucy attended the healing Mass, and she was instantly healed. She attributes the healing to the intercession of Our Lady and has been ecstatic ever since claiming that Jesus healed her through His Mother. This took place on March 2011, and she is still overcome with emotion and cries when relating the story.

In gratitude for the graces Lucy received, she is promoting the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign in her community and beyond. She is an inspiration to many.
