Upon his arrival in Madrid on August 18th, Covenant Day, Pope Benedict XVI passed directly in front of the Shrine of Madrid on Serrano Street riding in the pope-mobile. Flags, posters, and many jubilant young people drew his attention to this place of grace, a place where Mary attracts youthful hearts to herself, it is place where people pray for WYD, and it is a place that precisely recalls its special day, Covenant of Love Day.
