Golden Schoenstatters

In his talk, Father Martin said that behind everything there is always a message from Father for us, and the blessing of the remodeling of Father’s Little Hall is a call to attach ourselves even more with Father Kentenich, and to see him not only as the Founder of a great Work, or as a Prophet, but rather like a Father in a more intimate relationship. Later for his part, Father Tommy affirmed that Father Kentenich wanted Schoenstatt to be a Movement of the elite, and truly that is what we are, heirs of his Work, where love and decisiveness is required. We cannot be paper Schoenstatters, but we must be golden Schoenstatters, committed and loyal to the Founding Father whose mission gave the example of how to carry out and to bear the Schoenstatt Work with his life.

Father’s Little Hall

BendiciónThat same day, Father Tommy, Rector of the Youth Shrine, blessed the Father’s Little Hall that had been remodeled. There is a door that goes to the esplanade of the Shrine, a window that faces the beautiful Garden of the Father House, an air conditioner, and lighting!!!

This is how TEAM 2014, coordinated by Lourdes and Jaime Ortiz, carried out one of its projects on the pilgrimage toward the Schoenstatt centenary with a beautiful gift for the Founding Father, Joseph Kentenich, on the 101st Anniversary of his Priestly Ordination: the improvements to Father’s Little Hall in the Father’s House of the Schoenstatt Youth Shrine. Lourdes explained that Team 2014 sees this work as the door that Father Kentenich has opened for his children, and the door through which we, his children, can go to meet him.

Financial means were lacking, but wise Providence and our beloved MTA took care that the members of the family and also friends of the Schoenstatt Family gave their material contributions to remodel this place, thereby providing a place to encounter our Founding Father. Thank you to everyone who made this possible through material and spiritual contributions! We ask the MTA for her blessing.

We love our Founding Father, and as his children, we walk in the covenant of love with our Mother and Queen, loyal in the Mission!
