We want to present the Covenant culture to the Church and the Nation

En la ermita de ItuzaingóARGENTINA, Ana and Oscar Capezio. On May 21st and 22nd, the Leaders’ Conference from NEA (Northeast Argentina) was held in Ituzaingó (Corrientes) that gathered the Families from Formosa, Chaco, Corrientes, Oberá, Ituzaingó and the nascent family from Posadas.

Leaders’ Conference from del NEA

The 140 participants began to arrive on Friday night, and they all brought with them joy, a fraternal spirit, and creativity. They truly received an injection of spirit and cordiality. Father Juan José Riba, National Adviser of the Rosary Campaign, Sister Elsa Maria, Regional Adviser and Sister Maria de los Angeles, Adviser of the Girls’ Youth, participated.

On Friday afternoon, Father Juan José presided at the Mass at Our Lady of Loreto Parish and provided them with the opportunity to meet with their brothers and sisters from other communities.

Saturday dawned splendidly with the sunshine that accompanied them during the two days. The conferences, workshops, and bonfire were held at the Ituzaingó School that was prepared very carefully by the team in charge, alson with the collaboration of many of the participants. The final sending forth was held with a Mass celebrated on the grounds of the Wayside Shrine followed by a farewell picnic lunch.

This conference was a new experience of the Blessed Mother’s power to gather us as a Family around the spiritual presence of the Founding Father, and to prepare us for the great celebration of 2014 as a Family from NEA.

We want to learn from the Prophet

Repeating what Sister Elsa Maria expressed in her letter of welcome in which she outlined the lines to follow until the future Regional Conferences for Leaders:

  • During 2011, we want to walk hand in the hand with the Founding Father in the first year of the triennium toward 2014.
  • We want to learn from the Prophet that with him and like him, we want to respond to the challenges toward 2014.
  • We want to take on the Founding Father as Father and Prophet by getting to know him and by cultivating a greater intimacy with him.
  • We want to promote life in all its dimensions, proclaiming with fervor that life is a gift from God.
  • We want to present the Covenant culture to the Church and the Nation as a response to the culture of death, the detachment from life, the addiction to drugs, the physical, verbal and psychological violence, the abandonment of people, abortions and euthanasia.
  • We want to live the life of practical faith in Divine Providence in order to grow in Father’s prophecies.

Fruits of the regionalism

We should stress the active participation of the Boys’ and Girls’ Youth with their lively and fresh presence gave the conference a touch of joy.

Once again the regionalism that we had dreamed about is fulfilling the objective expected at its beginnings, since it not only permits a greater participation of representatives from the different dioceses in the Leaders’ Conference, but instead it greatly increases the exchange of information, knowledge, materials, etc. among all the communities with similar geographic realities.

We should express gratitude for the success of the Conference to the team of young leaders who assumed the ambitious task of preparing this event, and for the presence of Father Juan José and Sisters Elsa Maria and Maria de los Angeles.
