Primera peregrinación al Santuario de MiamiThe awaited moment arrived and an enormous picture of the Blessed Mother made its appearance captivating the participants.

The Reverend Father Christian Christensen, spiritual director of this community, awaited her at the entrance of the Shrine and then Blessed Mother was crowned. The Holy Rosary, the Blessed Mother’s favorite prayer, was offered during this large meeting. The Schoenstatt members offered her a rose for each Our Father and Hail Mary.

The Holy Mass began accompanied by heavenly songs and a large number of pilgrims from several parts of the state and with the founding members of the Schoenstatt Family who listened to a message honoring the Blessed Mother and mothers on their day.

After the Mass everyone greeted the Blessed Mother.

The program concluded with a family day. There were friends reconnecting, time to buy Schoenstatt literature, and of course, the usual foods were enjoyed from the countries represented by the members of the Schoenstatt Family from Miami.

I am so happy for the Miami family for the realization of their dream for a Shrine after many years of prayers, sacrifices, challenges, and prayer. I know there will be many more pilgrimages to their Shrine. I look forward to the day that I will be able to make a visit, too. Love and blessings to all.
