Galápagos is a group of volcanically formed islands 100 kilometers from the Ecuadorian coastline. The Franciscan Fathers evangelized them in1950, and there is presently an Apostolic Vicariate with a bishop and nine priests divided over the five islands populated by approximately 3,000 inhabitants…

capilla Nuestra Señora del Cisne On June 18th, there was a consecration of families to the Blessed Mother, and Father Arturo renewed his Covenant of Love.

The faithful are very happy with the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign. Presently they have two Pilgrim MTAs on pilgrimage to homes, and they hope with God’s help to continue to evangelize and to help our Blessed Mother make her Son known to all men…

“The people are so excited with the Mother Thrice Admirable”

The chapel where the Movement began is located in a sector called the Land Station, and the chapel is called Our Lady of Cisne, because it a very popular title for the Blessed Mother in Loja (province of Ecuador), and since many people from Loja live here the bishop gave it this name…

GalápagosFather Arturo concludes his narrative with a petition and an invitation:

“I count on your prayers, so that the Campaign will grow. And that we may consecrate many homes here in the beautiful islands, and everyone is invited to come to know them.

I await you with open arms at the Franciscan Mission in San Cristóbal Galápagos.

“But most important is that the people are so excited with the Mother Thrice Admirable.”
