BRAZIL, Sr. M. Rosequiel. In May 2010, about 300 delegates will participate in the 1st National Meeting of Coordinators for the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign at the Shrine of the Father’s Constant Presence in Atibaia/Sao Paulo. The year 2010 is special for those who participate in the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign. In June we will recall the 25th Anniversary of the death of its founder, the Servant of God, John Louis Pozzobon, and in September it will be the 60th Anniversary of the beginning of this large Marian apostolate.
Instead of merely celebrating these events, the 300 leaders who participate in the Schoenstatt Pilgrim MTA Campaign in dioceses from north to south in Brazil will meet on May 21-23, 2010 at the Shrine of the Father’s Constant Presence Shrine, in Atbaia/SP, for the first meeting for national coordinators, a milestone for the Campaign in Brazil.
In keeping with the rhythm of the preparation for the Centennial of the Covenant of Love in 2014, the organizers of this event chose one of John Pozzobon’s phrases, which splendidly expresses his life’s attitude as well as that of those who commit themselves to the Pilgrim MTA Campaign: “I had the grace of understanding the origin.” Since loyalty to the source – the Covenant of Love with the Mother Thrice Admirable – was the “recipe” for the success of six decades of life “of the vigorous campaign”, which was started in 1950 by John Pozzobon and which will always be its source of strength and inspiration.
In order to make the National Meeting of Coordinators of the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign a reality, a team of volunteers are working hard along with the leaders of the secretariats of the Campaign from Santa Maria/Rio Grande do Sul, and Atibada/SP. It is important to contact the coordinators from the different parts of Brazil through correspondence, to clarify any doubts the participants may be having or to solve the large and small problems that always arise in events this large.

Along with the organizational team, there is another team that is preparing for the: “Capital of Grace”. Very soon throughout Brazil, thousands of brochures will be in the hands of the Schoenstatt Pilgrim MTA missionaries. In this way, all those who participate in this great mission will be present at this incredibly historic moment of the Campaign. In addition, the missionaries are not the only ones who are part of the “team for the capital of grace.” Everyone who wishes to can participate. Here’s how: ask the National Meeting Coordinators for the brochures from the nearest Schoenstatt Shrine or obtain them from the address listed below. The brochure (or “flyer”, because there is no limit for magnanimity) should be returned to the diocesan coordinator (through the parish coordinators!), or it can be mailed the following address:

All the brochures will be deposited in an acrylic shrine, at the headquarters of the meeting at Atibada /SP, as an expresión that – united in the Covenant, for the Shrine – we will strive in the same mission, no matter where we are or the position that we hold.
“I had the grace of understanding the origin”, John Pozzobon is united to our Father and Founder, Joseph Kentenich, each coordinator who participates in the National Encounter or who participates in the “Capital of Grace” will make the Covenant of Love, our “common origin”, the heart of heart of our trip towards 2014!
