Was the presentation on May 31st important to you?
What are you taking home with you from the October Week?
The participants shared:

Father Dr. Joachim Schmiedl, Schoenstatt
"The presentation on May 31st was exciting especially since I was not in Chile
for the celebration. I saw and heard many aspects from this event that I had
not seen or heard before. The atmosphere from the jubilee came across well. It
is possible to 'pass on' atmosphere. The details matter. I enjoyed the report
from the Mothers' League member and how she had experienced this celebration."
|
Schw. M. Margareth Murmann, Schönstatt
"I had the impression that the joy of this experience came across well
from Bellavista to Germany. The reports showed enthusiasm. One could sense
that what Rosa Maria Wieland said was taken in deeply. Already something from
this life is growing here."
|
Alice Kowanz, Lady of Schoenstatt, Stuttgart
I was so happy that the whole Schoenstatt Family said yes to the
covenant with the Father. That is not self understood that the whole
Schoenstatt family goes with. I am so happy to be here tonight for this
celebration. I expect from this celebration that the whole Schoenstatt family
goes with Father and help bring his mission into the whole Church."

Abbé Denis, Diocese Priests' Institute, Burundi
"This is the first time that I participate in the October Week. I don't
understand everything and that is not so easy. My impression is very good. The
encounter with so many people from so many branches of the movement is something
I have never experienced here in Schoenstatt. In Burundi, Schoenstatt is not so
big and with so many different branches. We are one big family like it is here
today. I am so happy that I could concelebrate in the Holy Masses and
participate in the celebration in the Founder Chapel."
|
Francisco Nuño, Family Institute, Schoenstatt
"I was surprised that the Germans could be so spontaneous yesterday.
Maybe that is the grace of Bellavista. The covenant with Father is nothing new
- but a renewal. It is important as we approach the new millennium. We are
from the new millennium not from the last century. Only if we go with the
Father and live out the source of grace from the covenant, we can make an
impression on the new millennium. I am so grateful May 31st was also celebrated
in Schoenstatt. I enjoyed watching the video."
|
Two priests from the community of Esclavos de Jesus y Maria, from Puerto Rico
"We are grateful to come to Schoenstatt in October during the Covenant
month and to experience something from this October Week. We are very united
with the MTA from Schoenstatt. It is very important to experience the
Schoenstatt family here and to be at the Original Shrine. We built a
Schoenstatt shrine for our community and our community grows in the shadow of
the shrine. Our Founder, Father Anibal Reyes, was closely united with Fr.
Kentenich. We are all children of Fr. Kentenich. He is also the father of our
community."
|
Herdis Kullmann, Girl's Youth, Erfurt Diocese
"It is interesting and challenging. Since a couple of years, Father Kentenich is
my favorite occupation. And now a group of over 1,000 persons makes my very
personal 'occupation' their own. You know, this important meeting is about what
is important to me. I am looking forward for tonight."
|
Father Tilmann Beller, Schoenstatt
"What I expect from the Covenant with our Father and Founder? That he leads his
movement."
