PARAGUAY, Anita Alvarenga. During Holy Mass on December 18^th while many were starting Summer vacations, a group of twenty-three young women of the Girl’s Youth from Ciudad del Este made a Commitment to Purity.

In order to make this commitment, these young women worked on different attitudes, and as the year comes to a close, they experienced the ceremony, where they committed to fight against the world’s current from different aspects of their daily lives such as: the way they dress, their language, in the moments of going to dance, etc. The promises they read were specific. The Celebrant and their families attentively accompanied those who were making this commitment for other young people who will who want to strive for a a different presence in society as members of the Schoenstatt Movement.

Soon, Father Luis blessed the medals that the girls received to commemorate this momentous occasion.

This is a way of applying real life situations to the Child Jesus using godly attitudes that are much needed in today’s world.
