PARAGUAY, Sebastián "Papito" Martin/mkf. "How do we live our Covenant of Love?" At a beautiful meeting on November 20th, motivated by the readings of the day, some families from Encarnación, Paraguay, evaluated the Covenant of Love that they sealed on September 7th, from the spiritual aspect of each one who was present. Here are several simple as well as impressive heartfelt testimonies about how they lived their Covenant of Love emerged.

The Family Work of Encarnación was founded on December 2, 2007 with the commitment of the group, a total of twenty couples divided into three groups: Family in Covenant, Sower, and Footsteps. On September 7, 2008 they sealed their Covenant of Love in the National Shrine of Tuparenda.

The photos from that day are especially meaningful to them, because Father Antonio removed his chasuble and put on a t-shirt from Encarnación to celebrate the Mass this September 7th in a gesture that speaks of his extraordinary love for Encarnación. Two months have elapsed since that day of graces in which they have lived the Covenant of Love in their daily lives.

A before and after in the life of everyone

We all agree that our spiritual life is different than the one before making our Covenant. Although there have been many failings, beginning in the wonderful world of Schoenstatt is superior to the previous one. Everyone said that the Covenant marked a definite before and after in their lives.

One person mentioned: "Before opening the door to my business, I address and entrust myself to Her, something I would not think of doing before…I feel sheltered," he said. How beautiful!

Another person said: My life and our lives have changed radically after the Covenant in spite of our own difficulties in life, which we still have, but now we view them differently. And like this one, there have been many other deeds in our lives since we sealed the Covenant of Love.

If this isn’t a miracle, what is? And She was the author! This must be said, and said strongly, because we must make the good things known, and tell others about it, and we must give witness of it in our lives.

Following the footsteps of the Founding Father

We are preparing a presentation for our ordinary assembly on November 29th and 30th, about Following in the footsteps of the Founding Father. It was also announced at this meeting that we have "won" our Mass on the 18th at the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Our first Mass will be on Sunday, January 18th. So let us prepare!

Another commercial: On November 29th, we will have an evaluation workshop, and on the 30th, we will have an initiation workshop from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m at UCE. The invitation is very clear: invite your friends, who are couples, don’t be selfish!

With slow, but sure and trusting footsteps

We have been working in Schoenstatt for three years. The original group, which has existed for more than fifteen years, originated in the Christian Family Movement. Then we were led by Nelly and Alfredo Ramirez from Ciudad Este to this Movement, "which personally," said Sebastián "Papito" Martin – "at the beginning, I wanted no part of it, because I thought that it was a Movement that was purely and exclusively Marian, and that it was all about praying to the Blessed Mother and then to the Founding Father. What a mistake- after I learned a little about it – and Father Antonio knows because I told him as a matter of principle that I did not like movements about personalities, etc.my life and our life has changed radically. Now I have fundamentally changed my life. I believe that Schoenstatt and the Founding Father have taught me a lot, although I am just crawling, walking very slowly, but surely, trusting in our Ally, the Blessed Mother, Our Mother and Model."

She has worked so many miracles in our families. We have some very strong testimonies about this change, and we are very happy about this.
