SOUTH AFRICA, Sr. Bonnie Robbins. Our Father and founder Father Kentenich received a very special birthday gift on November 16, his birthday. Little baby Kenten, who has been named after him, was baptised in the shrine at Constantia.
Kenten is the son of Kathleen and Marcel Barry of Cape Town. This young couple have been acquainted with Schoenstatt for a number of years. It was however through their deep experiences in Schoenstatt for the World Youth Day in 2005, that Our MTA and Father Kentenich captured their hearts in a special way. In May this year they entered into the Covenant of Love as a family – with little baby Kenten already on his way.
This young Schoenstatt Family made many efforts to have their baby baptised on Father Kentenich’s birthday. Little Kenten will no doubt be showered with blessings from our father.
