SCHOENSTATT, Tomás Garzón. Not only are the numbers impressive nor the amount of advanced request for the album that pictures "The filial spirit of Father Kentenich in Dachua". Above all it was the comments that were generated on the Blog of the audio and video of Schoenstatt.de with the presentation of one of its songs. The Morning Offering of the prayer book Heavenwards, transformed into music by Kathy Kanewske, was heard 1059 times since it publication, 200 of them in a single day. The video of the presentation in Schoenstatt was seen by 515 people. In total, the Blog received more than 3,200 visits, which earned it the title of "Growing Blog". "That’s what I love about Schoenstatt.de…we find out things we wouldn’t know about, even though, in this case I live three hours from Austin (the place where the album was produced)…This is really wonderful, heavenly music…I look forward to getting the CD and to listen to it. To be able to pray with it…" says Angie Santos. The presence of Kathy’s music on the Schoenstatt.de Blog has made a stream of life around the world possible, through the many comments that are worth reviewing. The strength of the music and the prayerThe author was the first one to be surprised by the strength and the impact of her music, to begin with, in the sphere of her own family. Among the comments received on the Blog there is one from one of Kathleen’s sister, who says proudly: When we were children, you taught me to Love Jesus-to truly LOVE Him. And now you’re teaching the whole WORLD!" At the same time, her father is beginning to get interested in Father Kentenich and her brother, a resident in Chicago, plans to go the Shrine in Milwaukee for the first time. Many emotions have been awakened among those who have heard Kathy’s songs. The testimonies from everyplace of the world are eloquent. "It is impressive what this song awakens, that profoundly touches the heart. There are no words to describe it", said Monina, from Argentina. Karen assures that she and her family have these songs "taped with joy" on their minds and their hearts. "How beautiful! It transports me to our father’s heart, María shares from Chile. A gift for all of SchoenstattOne of the trends among the comments was to stress that the CD is a great gift for all the Schoenstatt Family and for the world in general. "How wonderful to hear our dear Father Kentenich’s words set to beautiful music! What a labor and gift of love to all Schoenstatt and the world!", says Melissa, from the United States, while Andrea assures that incredible blessings "will come from the listening of Father’s words set to Kathy’s music. It truly lifts the heart and mind to God." Your gift to the treasury of grace here will bless many people for many many years", Linda foresees, she is also from the United States. From Argentina, María del Rosario believes that these songs "have done something very good for the great Schoenstatt Family, and when it becomes known outside of the family, it will do still more". In spite that they do not understand the lyrics, many Schoenstatters from different parts of the world were also happy to hear the song published on Schoenstatt.de.. There were even those who yearned that something similar would be done in their language of origin, as María Jesús from the Girls’ Youth from Chile says: I hope that God will act like this within the people of Latin America". The international success of Heavenwards, Always, reminded one of the Sisters of Mary of an episode from her childhood. At that time, a group of seminarians of the Schoenstatt Fathers in Germany presented a musical version of the Mass from Heavenwards in Spanish. "No one understood a single word, but everyone wanted to have it", says Sister enthusiastically, who was only 6 years old at the time. "It is the same thing that is happening now, for some reason Father’s prayers touch us in any language".
