No se ve nada con los ojos, pero se siente en el corazón: ˇJesús nace para mi!

You cannot see it, but you feel it in your Herat: Jesus will be born for me!

Man sieht es nicht, aber man spürt es im Herzen: Jesus wird geboren, für mich!

Mexico, Sister Noemi Tell. The Advent Retreat for the Apostles and Little Crowns of Mary joyfully took place on November 18th and 19th in the retreat house of the Schoenstatt Shrine in Querétaro.

Thanks to the help of some leaders, the little ones were divided into two groups (according to ages) and they received some ideas of how to prepare themselves during Advent for the coming of Jesus. They were told of the importance of receiving Jesus with a heart that is prepared; this was done in an animated atmosphere in which the little girls learned some songs. The motto for the retreat was: "Light of the world in your heart". Through stories and motivations the little girls clearly learned about the true meaning of Christmas, these four, five and six year olds showed that they wanted to receive the Child Jesus with all their hearts which was reflected in their eyes and their radiant faces.

Both groups prepared their "Advent calendars" with which they will work during this time and in this way they will be able to present the Child Jesus with a gift when he comes in December.

An enjoyable and instructive rally

The little ones as well the older ones had a Rally that they enjoyed and learned at the same time. Both groups also had a piñata, and at night they also asked for a posada. In the shrine, the little girls encountered the Blessed Mother, and with joy they offered Her their contributions to the Capital of Grace.

We appreciate the cooperation of the girls who affectionately prepared the retreat: Mirjana, Paty, Gaby, Cari, Itzel, Aurora, Vero, Lisa, Meche, and Meli.
