PARAGUAY, Javier Cabral. Last Saturday, October 15th, the Rosary Campaign held its annual journey for children.

The children met to pray in the Shrine, then they played in the surrounding area, in the lake, and they ran through the paths and the wet grass; since it had rained that morning.

Afterwards there was an activity that the children like very much: the launching of the Pilgrim MTA that is attached to many balloons of the patriotic colors of red, white, and blue...

All the children would say: "I want to launch her": This year the wind was strong and while the Consecration prayer was sung, the balloons elevated and they took the Pilgrim MTA towards the west. On the back of the Pilgrim MTA there was a message for whoever found her.

"There goes Mother, Mary", the children shouted.

An unforgettable memory for these children

After the launching a group from the Boys’ Youth entered the Shrine to sing to the Blessed Mother. The younger boys went to refreshment area where a table was set with cookies and soft drinks.

I think that it was an afternoon of positive experiences for these children, perhaps in the future they will remember that besides eating good things, an image of the MTA was elevated through the sky and that at night before going to sleep they thought: How beautiful it would be if the Blessed Mother would carry me to heaven in her arms!
