HUNGARY, mkf. The Shrine in Hungary is growing and "looks more beautifully each day", as Rita and Robert Godany wrote these days. The blessing of the Shrine is scheduled for April 2, 2005; it is a dream come true for the Schoenstatt Movement in Hungary, so far "built on the reality of the home shrine", as Father Tilman Beller puts it."

A fist Shrine in a country always is a special moment, that raises expectations for a new inbreak of graces. This is of course also the case with Hungary, especially thinking of the amplification of the European Union in May 2004. It is the first Shrine to be blessed in one of the countries now being part of the EU, since that historical moment.

The building of the Shrine is accompanied in prayer by many, especially in Europe, where a new consciousness of "Schoenstatt in Europe" is growing. From Schoenstatt, a bus pilgrimage is organized for all those who would like to participate in the blessing of the first Shrine in Hungary.
