KENYA, Timothy Mwangi. Saturday, July 3 was a great day for Kenya: the Schoenstatt family celebrated with joy and gratitude ten years of Schoenstatt's existence in their country.
The well-prepared celebration started with a three kilometer walk reciting the rosary, heading to the place of a much longed-for Shrine in Kenya. So far, there's a beautiful wayside shrine, a real place of grace for the Schoenstatt family in Kenya. Confession, spiritual guiding, Holy Mass, Renewal of the Covenant of Love, Novena, Cutting cake and the final blessing marked the festive day.
The Schoenstatt priest who assists the Schoenstatt family of Kenya on this day also celebrated his 25th ordination anniversary, again a reason to keep celebrating…
The small Schoenstatt family in Kenya counts with the prayers of their "older siblings" on their way to spread Schoenstatt in Africa.
