USA, Georgia, Sr. Jessica Swedzinki. On January 22nd, 2003 the 30th anniversary of the ruling for abortions took place with massive Pro-Life Rallies around the United States of America. Our Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign was well represented among other places, in Atlanta, Georgia. Angelo Concepcion and his youngest daughter, Rosemary, accompanied the State MTA Auxiliary to the Holy Mass at the Immaculate Conception Basilica and on the walk to the State Capitol.

On January 22, 1973, the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision allowed abortion on demand in the United States of America. The 30th anniversary of this decision saw massive Pro-Life Rallies around country. The Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign was actively involved at several places. In Atlanta, Georgia, Angelo Concepcion and his youngest daughter, Rosemary, accompanied the State MTA Auxiliary to the Holy Mass at the Immaculate Conception Basilica. Our MTA was proudly placed in the center of the main altar after the Rosary was recited. There she was greeted by the Bishop and over 50 priests who concelebrated.

"You can't imagine how moved I was when you put our Lady up high and waved her during the songs!"

As the congregation gathered for the walk to the State Capitol, Angelo walked back and forth, not missing anyone in the whole church who wanted to personally greet our MTA Auxiliary. She gave much courage and comfort as the people wanted to see her.

A German lady told him: "You can't imagine how moved I was when you put our Lady up high and waved her during the songs!"  The local pastor and parishioners will be making a special pilgrimage to the Wayside Shrine for their Respect for Life Group.

More important than classes: Respect for life

And as anyone can imagine with the 22# weight, Angelo's arms were hurting. One kind lady came and asked if he would allow others to carry the Auxiliary. Yes, but the first two big men she asked, were not interested. Then two smaller men offered. In fact, one was a chiropractor and said, I not only came to help you, but to give you my business card and urge you to visit me tomorrow for a treatment. You need to come to my clinic and I will take care of you!

One final mosaic of our Georgia Auxiliary MTA comes from Rosemary when she told her Dad, "I can't get over you. I didn't want to go and miss school for the whole day, but this is one of the best days of my life! And it is more important than classes, that we have respect for life!"
