Das Internationale Treffen ist vorbei – und was nehmen sie mit nach Hause?
The International Meeting is over – what do you take home from these days?

Beeindruckend war die Atmosphäre, mir ist ganz besonders klar geworden, wie wichtig die Internationalität Schönstatts ist – jedes Land, jede Teilnehmerin trögt bei, jede ist voll da,, jede bringt ihre persönliche Art ein in das Fest. Das macht die Atmosphäre aus - so sein können, wie man ist. Beeindruckend war, wie etwas durchzieht, es war eine Linie da, am Anfang, am Schluss. Das Gemeinschaftserlebnis war sehr stark.

The atmosphere was impressive, and I realized how important the internationality of Schoenstatt is. Each country as well as each individual contributes, each one in her individual way. That makes for this special atmosphere – each one is granted the right to simply be herself. I was impressed by the thread of the meeting, it was not a composition of different themes, but one common idea from the beginning to the end. The community experience was very strong.

Für mich war es einer der wichtigsten Augenblicke meines Lebens, als ich die Unterschrift unter gegeben habe – da habe ich das ganze Leben in den Besitz der Gottesmutter gegeben, es war ein totales Versprechen, und ich fühle mich stark in meinem Liebesbündnis. Ich bis so dankbar und möchte darum nun ganz bereit sein, dieses Versprechen im Alltag zu leben.

For me, it was one of the most important moments of my life, when I gave my signature to the document. It was like giving my entire self, my whole life to the Blessed Mother, a total surrender. I feel strong with my Covenant of Love, I am so grateful and now I want to be ready to live this surrender in my every day life.

Das intensivste war der Tag mit der Nacht bei Pater Kentenich! Ich habe entdeckt, was für eine Sendung Pater Kentenich hat ... und ich möchte lebendige Krone sein auch für ihn.

The most impressive experience was the day that ended with the night with Father Kentenich, in the Founder Chapel. I discovered that Father Kentenich has a mission, and I want to be a living crown.

Die Messe hat mit gefallen und die Prozession, das war echt gut. Wir waren alle zusammen. Verrückt – obwohl wir nicht miteinander reden konnten, kam man sich vor, als würde man die Leute schon ewig kennen, als wären wir alte Freunde! Jede hat so viel Liebe ausgestrahlt. Man kann nicht miteinander reden, aber man kann sich austauschen, es geht echt! Die Party gestern Abend war auch gut, das hat Spaß gemacht, die Sachen von den andern zu essen. Wir waren alle richtig glücklich!

I liked the Mass, the procession, it was really neat. We were all together. Even though we could not speak with each other, I felt like we knew these people like ever, like we were friends forever. Everybody radiated so much love. You cannot speak, but you can communicate!!! The party yesterday was good, was fun – to share everyone else's food. We were all so happy!

Der wichtigste Moment war die Krönung, die ganz persönliche Krönung. Es hat viel geholfen, die kleine Krone dabei zu haben, und den Kristall – das ist das Symbol der tschechischen Jugend. Beides hatte ich in der kleinen Schachtel dabei. Bis jetzt war die Gottesmutter die 'Mama' für mich, jetzt ist sie auch meine Königin, es ist etwas Wunderbares. Die kleine Krone war eine große Überraschung und ein Geschenk!

The most important moment was the crowning, of course. It helped a lot to have the small crown and the crystal, which is the symbol of the youth in our country. I had both items in the little box, the crown and the crystal, and carried them with me in the procession. So far, the Blessed Mother was my mother. Now she is my Queen, and it is wonderful. The small crown was such a surprise and such a precious gift!

Wir waren gern mit den anderen zusammen, es war schön, ihre Kultur kennen zu lernen. Schönstatt ist wirklich ein 'schöner Ort', so friedlich. Wir möchten alle Mädchen nach Nazareth und ins Heilige Land einladen. Viele waren noch nie da, haben wir erfahren, und bei uns ist doch die Ursprungsstätte des Christentums. Wenn wir einmal unser Heiligtum haben in Nazareth – oder irgendwo anders im Heiligen Land, in Bethlehem oder in Jerusalem – , dann müsste es bei uns so ein internationales Treffen von Schönstatt geben!

We liked to meet with the others and get to know their culture. Schoenstatt is really a 'beautiful place', it is so peaceful. We like to invite all the girls to come to Nazareth, to come to the Holy Land – we heard that many of them had hot been there, it is the first place of Christianity. When we have our shrine in Nazareth – or at any other place in the Holy Land, in Bethlehem for example or in Jerusalem – , we should have an international meeting of Schoenstatters like this one in Nazareth!
