INTERNACIONAL, mkf. It is a known fact that fans watch their soccer teams live during the World Cup at four in the morning…On July 8th there were other fans, or rather other heroes, the four o’clock in the morning heroes. For it was at this time that the Sisters of Mary, youth, and couples from Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay awoke to follow the live transmission of the beginning of a worldwide pilgrimage without precedence. "I belong to the heroes of today!" wrote one of the "fans" from Argentina: "I was able to participate in the Mass…Magnificent! A thousand thanks and blessings for all the team! This is live communication! For me, it was a plus because today was the anniversary of my Covenant of Love. Just imagine, I renewed it in the Original Shrine!"

"Thanks for sending me the Father Symbol." writes Ursula M. from Germany. She is one of more than 550 people, who followed the live transmission on July 8th. At least 500 people or more followed within the time frame of a few hours the recorded version. Those who saw it live began to spontaneously greet each other. "We have gathered with people from 33 nations, and although many of them saw each other for the first time, a profound inner affinity was felt, as it happens many times between relatives and members of the same family," said Monsignor Meter Wolf during the homily in the Original Shrine, referring to Conference 2014. The stream of unity, the stream of wanting to walk together, that stream that many define as a precious fruit from this Conference is clearly perceived in the desire to participate live in what the family is experiencing on its way to the centennial of the Covenant of Love. Together breaking the barriers of distance, time and language – thanks to the Internet, which permits us to live- stream with translations of the script and a homily that could be downloaded.

Everyone has gathered here from home and abroad, from time and eternity

"Having taken time out from the noise of the day, and the haste and anxiousness of our times for this quiet celebration, we are now spiritually united with the entire family in our little shrine. Priests, lay and religious, adults, youth and children, men and women, boys and girls are gathered in colorful array around the picture of our Mother Thrice Admirable of Schoenstatt. All have found their way here from home and abroad, from time and eternity. All have come to their favorite place with heartfelt gratitude, fervent love, and ardent expectation. We are in their midst." (The Second Founding Document, October 18, 1939, p.41). These were Father Kentenich’s words on October 18, 1939, which became evident on this July 8th,

Priests and laity, adults, youth and children, men and women, little boys and girls came to their favorite place from Romania, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Russia, England, Hungary, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, the Czech Republic, South Africa, Holland, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico, Uruguay, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Singapore, and someone from the Coco Islands.

"Beloved Father, Happy Anniversary as a priest of God! Thank you for allowing your gift to the family – The Father Symbol – to unite the hearts of everyone through the shrines of your beloved Mother! We love you! wrote Inés Petito, from Goya, Argentina.

"Many greetings to the Original Shrine from the Shrine with the first Father Symbol in Germany," was how Germany was present in the Chat that accompanied the live transmission. Greetings from Stuttgart (Freiberg), Allgau, Freiburg, Borken, Munich…followed. "It is too bad that I have to turn off the speakers, since I am in the office, and I have to work," someone wrote who was following the transmission in Germany.

We are participating from the first row in the interior of the Shrine

"What a joy to be in the Original Shrine," write Nella and Manuel Montero from Costa Rica. "It is truly something wonderful, this must continue, let us pray and act so it will happen! All our affection to Monsignor Peter Wolf, Sister Luciane, Sister Kornelia, Father Walter, Father Ángel Strada and all our beloved Schoenstatt family from Conference 2014. It is 1:00 a.m. in Costa Rica…"

"At this very special time of grace we pray for our countries," writes a Sister of Mary from Argentina. "For our urgent needs, so that the presence of the Blessed Mother will always protect us."

"Many thanks that we could be present on this day," a family from Anwander, Germany writes.

A comment from Mexico summarizes all of it: "We are participating from the first row in the interior of the Shrine…Thank you Blessed Mother [and] to those who have made this miracle possible for us".

"This makes the anticipation for 2014 grow," was the comment from Vienna, Austria.

Praying in front of the computer…

"Lord, You who have allowed us to enjoy these wonderful things of the Father and the Blessed Mother, I pray today that your holy priest, Father Joseph Kentenich, may celebrate another anniversary as your favorite son, consecrated to follow the footsteps of your Son, Jesus, on the travels of the symbol, which represents you and that he generously gave to preside in your Mother’s home. May Father Joseph Kentenich soon be at the altar of your saints.

Lord, all powerful, make the travels of this Father Symbol, which is present in this place chosen by your Mother today, begin to return love into the hands of the family. Grant that Father be a saint for your beloved Church, and may all humanity soon celebrate it as such.

Lord, in the name of this Covenant of Love that you allowed your Mother to seal with him, the first sodalists, and through them all of your holy family, we pray! Ines".
