CONFERENCE 2014, David Brahler. We arrived as individuals and we departed as a family. Schoenstatt is, in its being, different to other Movements: it does have a military style, it is not a business, nor a work. No, it is a family.
This concept was made clear to the participants more and more during the course of the journey for planning 2014; it is a concept that meant more than bidding farewell to an efficient but one dimensional road, but it also signified all the richness of a perfect community based on perfect personalities.
From my perspective – from the translation booth - Spanish/German – I further perceived a second desire: in this common search not only was it simply projected as a program for the centennial year; rather they wanted to truly allow the will of God and of the Blessed Mother so that a new irruption of grace would be produced, it was a historic moment for a new century for Schoenstatt.
We hope that the renewed consciousness of being Father’s Family, will soon be expressed in concrete willingness and in a concrete commitment to make a practical program for the centennial, so that we can show the world and the Church who we are.
