ARGENTINA, Ines Petiti. On Covenant Day, as a gift from God, the Auxiliary Pilgrim MTA from the Diocese of Corrientes arrived at the Blessed Mother’s Wayside Shrine in Goya, at precisely the same moment, the missionaries began to pray the 1,000 Hail Marys.

The Auxiliary Pilgrim MTA will be in Goya until February 28th, and then it will return to the capital, Corrientes.

The Auxiliary MTA from the Dioceses of Corrientes, the capital, came to visit, giving the Rosary Campaign’s Goya Family and the entire church great joy. The Auxiliary MTA was present during the prayer of the 1,000 Hail Marys and when Father Flavio, from the Our Lady of Itati Parish, celebrated Holy Mass before a multitude of pilgrims at the Schoenstatt Wayside Shrine.

The people love the Auxiliary MTA

The Blessed Mother comes in haste to visit her children, and as the great bearer of Christ, she gave the Eucharist to each one.

During Holy Mass, Martin and Luan received a Pilgrim MTA, thereby allowing her to go anew on a "Visitation" as she did long ago when she went in haste to the home Zechariah and Elizabeth.

In the special atmosphere that Father Flavio generates through his great love of Jesus and His Mother, the Holy Mass opened our hearts during the Eucharist, where each heartbeat felt the special graces that Mary grants in her Shrines.

A picture of John Pozzobon with the Pilgrim MTA on his shoulder was presented at the offertory so that the Auxiliary MTA, which was gazing at so many eyes full of petitions, could feel the love of her people. Barbara, a little missionary, presented school supplies so that Father could distribute them among the needy with the plea to God that he take special care of the Argentinean schools, which are about to begin the school year.

Making the message of the Covenant of Love known

Paola and Roli, who presented the bread and wine for Eucharist with much affection, were at the place chosen by the Blessed Mother in Goya. Paola consecrated herself to the MTA on the second Sunday of February.

Martin and Lujan, new missionaries, received the Pilgrim MTA with great emotion. They made the commitment to have her travel among the families, asking them to pray the Rosary, and help make the Covenant of Love known.

May Mary, the great missionary, help us to discover the richness of the Rosary, which is prayed, lived, and offered, thereby entering deeply into the mystery of Redemption, showing us the way to turn towards the Father.

"She is the great missionary, she will work miracles."

So the Auxiliary MTAs depart from Santa Maria, Brazil’s Schoenstatt’s Tabor Shrine, the place of origin for the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign, always attached to the Original Shrine. "With this new initiative," explained John Pozzobon, who initiated the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign, "I strongly feel, in my heart, a voice that says that these Pilgrim MTAs should not remain in the Shrine, rather they should begin a pilgrimage; there is a reason they attract people."

At the Wayside Shrine of Goya, the missionaries accompanied the pilgrimage of the International Auxiliary MTA through Burundi and the countries of the Great Lakes in Central Africa. What tenderness the MTA demonstrates by coming in the form of the Corrientes Auxiliary and visiting Goya’s Wayside Shrine just when the Burundian Auxiliary– the first Auxiliary sent to Africa when Father Esteban took the Auxiliaries of South Africa and Zimbabwe during the eighties–arrived from Santa Maria to Germany on its way to Africa!
