PERU, Zoila Viteri and Victor Armas. The education project, Joseph Kentenich, in Trujillo, Peru next to the country’s first Schoenstatt Shrine has just completed their fifth anniversary this October 18th, marked with the spirit of Father Kentenich in the teachers, the children, and the parents. The teachers from the Marian school, Joseph Kentenich, in Trujillo, recently had a visit from the well-known speaker, Mrs. Catalina Larrain, manager of the Chilean Institue of Educational Development, IGNIS, who shared a fruitful pedagogic meeting in in Trujillo, on the occasion of celebrating the fifth anniversary of their foundation. The program celebration included many activities: academics, sports, spiritual, which strengthened the identity of the "Marian family, united in love, cradled in the Covenant, that serves selflessly and respects the individuality of each person." The primary school children took part by offering an oral final presentation that was very enriching and emotional. In the third contest entitled, Meeting Father Kentenich, based upon the life and work of our Father and Founder, members of the local Schoenstatt Family were invited to form the jury. The children offered them an enriching afternoon characterized by the attachment to the Founder and Patron of the School. The littlest children from the pre-K level along with their moms took part in the art festival, My Friend, Father Kentenich, creating in a collage their own experiences of Father Kentenich's life.
