BRAZIL, P. Mauricio Torres. The retreat for the Ut Patres Missi priests’ course and the candidates from our Institute was held on Monday, July 21st through Friday, July 25th. Two groups consisting of sixteen priests and seminarians from Brazil, Argentina, and Chile participated in the retreat.
This fraternal retreat took place in the city of Jaboticabal, SP – Brazil. The Ut Patre Missi course comprised of Father Marcelo Cervi (Brazil), Father Mario Reis (Brazil), Father Pepe Plaza (Chile), and Father Mauricio Torres (Chile). At this time, they officially began the first intensive part of their formation during the free time from the course. Their educator, Father Adrían González (Chile), accompanied them. This time of grace began with the Eucharist celebrated in the Dwelling of Victorious Joy Shrine in the city of Araaquara –SP; the Representative of the General Rector, Father Hugo Alvarez (Argentina), presided along with the participation of the candidates and two priests interested in the community.
