ARGENTINA, Antonia Goytiño de Mejías. On July 26th a Wayside Shrine of the Mother Thrice Admirable of Schoenstatt, or the Mater as she usually called from the Latin title, Mater ter Admirabilis, was inaugurated in the Villa Trabe neighborhood of San Cayetano, in the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She wants to be present in this humble neighborhood.

More than one hundred people assembled, where the future square of this most humble settlement of the upper city will be located. Members of the Schoenstatt community from Adolfo Gonzáles Chaves, who donated the majolica ware picture of the Blessed Mother, Father Pablo Deiro, the pastor of the city of San Cayetano, Bishop Juan Carlos di Filippo, who blessed the Wayside Shrine, the quarter master general of the city, Miguel Angel Gargaglione, other officials, and members of the community of San Cayetano attended.

First, members of the folkloric group, Los Ponchos Argentinao, planted a tree; Juan Carlos Blanco explained, "we are a group of friends who have been together for more than thirty years, and we had the good fortune of making a very big trip representing the country. Our objective at each of these places, where we accompanied social projects, was to leave our symbol, and in this case, since it is in a green space, we wanted to present some bamboo trees." The parish priest, Father Deiro stated,"For this parish community, it is a great joy to share this moment at the beginning of the Novena to Saint Cayetano. The Blessed Mother of Schoenstatt wanted her image to come to this place, because we first had the desire of building a Wayside Shrine, and then the people from Adolfo González Chaves donated this majolica ware picture. He also gave a short introduction to Schoenstatt and its origin in a humble chapel in Germany.

More than seventy missionaries

Antonia Goytino de Mejia affirmed, "Our Blessed Mother arrived in 1989; now we have more than seventy missionaries, four others in De la Garma, and we hope that soon we will also have missionaries in San Cayetano." Then she added, "…The graces and blessings of the Blessed Mother are sheltering. With the certainty that God loves us, and that He will never leave us. Because He is always willing to welcome us as prodigal children, and interior transformation, which consists of Mary’s love that makes us like her; and apostolic zeal, which is the desire that surges in the hearts of those who have been blessed by God so that others can receive this same blessing."

In conclusion, the mayor, Miguel Gargagione, the pastor, Father Pablo Deiro, Mrs. Antonio Goytino, and a neighbor of Villa Trabe, Karina Vallejos, proceeded to uncover the majolica that showed the image of the Blessed Mother of Schoenstatt, then Bishop Di Fillipo gave a very touching blessing for the majolica; a bouquet of flowers and a rosary were also presented.
