Pilgrim MTA for Students

PARAGUAY, Pedro Valdovinos. A few weeks ago, a new initiative emerged in the Rosary Campaign of Paraguay: The Pilgrim MTA for Students.

To write about this great mission is in a certain way, a way for me to begin to accomplish it. It is the first step to carry out this task. As students, Mary thought about a mission for us. She wants to reach more hearts through ours.

On Sunday June 8, 2008, several youth, perhaps twenty or more received the Pilgrim MTA for Students in their arms, and they began a new step in their life towards God.

Youth and Students: Each one with a different vision of this mission. Each one walks to receive her in a different way, rapidly or with a slower step. Some walk inclined and others, maybe without too much confidence in the good God. However, they take her.

The fire of love

They assume this mission seriously, like mature persons, but a flame of a child still remains in their young hearts. It is a fire that only the youth have. It is the madness that Mary wants to use as a transport. She knows that the youth will take her to unimaginable places because a fire of love burns within us.

She knows each one of our lives, and She knows that we will accomplish her mission one way or another. This is the reason that today she entrusts the Pilgrim MTA to us. Today the youth are called to take Mary as a companion in everything that we do as John Louis Pozzobon did in his time. She wants to go to the classrooms to conquer new young hearts, to fill new homes, new rooms, and new lives with her gaze.

Conquering new souls

We are loyal instruments for her Kingdom; we take Schoenstatt through the world so that our flags will wave forever. We have the responsibility and unique opportunity of together forging a young church willing to renew that promise to evangelize, of taking Christ to each and every one of the people that pass through our lives. Today we were given the opportunity to show Christ, not only through our own reflections and not only through our own lives, on a mission along with His mother, and in this way, we are conquering new souls.

So, "when nobody lives from us in other times, the flags of my Schoenstatt will continue to wave"… Nothing without Her and nothing without us. We take Mary to new and unimaginable places. She wants to conquer new hearts. She will know what to do. Let us take Mary without fear of anything, God is at our side. She is our weapon and shield. Youth and students: Let us bring Mary to all! This is our mission!
