SCHOENSTATT. MKF. On Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 5:30 p.m., when the rosary will be prayed again in the Original Shrine, many people will unite spiritual to this prayer from their Shrines, wayside shrines and Homeshrines. United in the Covenant of Love, we will pray for the intentions of everyone who sent their petitions to the Original Shrine, and we will also pray for all the activities that will take place around the Original Shrine and other Shrines around the world.
On June 20th, in Providencia, Province of Santa Fe, Argentina, the One Thousand Hail Marys will be prayed for the resolution of the conflict and discord in Argentina; this will be jointly carried out by schools, Movements, and associations of the city, through the initiative of the Schoenstatt Movement. Many places in the country will unite in prayer for this purpose.
In Burundi, this weekend, there will be a pilgrimage with the Third International Auxiliary to Musaza Cathedral in Gitega. Gitega is the second city of the country and the first Archbishopric in Burundi. Many people are expected, and many people will go from Bujumbura. There was a night of prayer in Gitega.
On the afternoon of the 19th, a pilgrimage from Mexico arrived in Schoenstatt; they will remain until Wednesday of next week. This weekend, the second "Forum for Men" will take place with the motto: "Career or Heart Attack? What do men really want?"
On June 22nd, the 40th Anniversary of the Shrine of Joy will be celebrated in Herxheim, Germany. There will be a large celebration for everyone. May the MTA shower many graces of authentic joy from this place of grace at this time of insecurity and sadness for many of us!
Next weekend, the Year of Saint Paul will be solemnly opened in Rome, and also in Schoenstatt, Germany. There will be seminars and workshops in several Shrines such as the one in Oberkirch, Germany and in New Schoenstatt Argentina, where they will even transmit the Opening of the Door of Saint Paul by Benedict XVI! On June 29th, the Pilgrims’ Church will be blessed at the Shrine of Belen in Escobar.
