CHILE, Alejandra Díaz Larraín. On March the 4th the arrival of the Blessed Mother at Curicó was celebrated with a Holy Mass in front of the doors of the Shrine. The picture given by the Sisters of Mary – is the one that will be enthroned in the Shrine on November 8th. We invite all the Schoenstatt Family to share the joy of welcoming the MTA to her own home. This is an historic moment; it is truly the most anticipated moment for all Schoenstatters: the construction of the Shrine in Curicó. Everyone can see that a small Shrine is being raised in Tierra Joven (Young Land), but few can imagine what is behind this wonderful building. Blessed Mother, your home has been conquered little by littleBlessed Mother, your home has been built little by little, and this November 8th you will be established here in your Shrine, built with the solid base of the love we have for you, with bricks of self-giving and contributions to the Capital of Grace. What a joy to know that we are building your home, which is a little piece of heaven where everyone will always be welcome! Blessed Mother, we are experiencing the fruit of all the effort that we Schoenstatters have made to have you in Curicó. The Schoenstatt Family wants to tell a little of what happened on Tuesday the 5th when the Blessed Mother saw her new home for the first time. For the Girls’ Youth it was a long awaited moment. They could see this was one more stage and that this was not simply a picture of the Blessed Mother, on the contrary, she is the Blessed Mother, the Queen who arrived to stay. They welcomed her with the beloved Father Horacio, who celebrated the Holy Mass outside of the future Shrine. The youth, the pioneers and the allies, organized a cantata to add that touch of joy that characterizes them. It was a moment of great joy in Tierra Joven, hearts were filled with happiness and the desire: the Blessed Mother will reign in Curicó. What is behind the ShrineThere is much behind the building of a Shrine. Much effort and giving of self is required. But what is received is so great it is worth everything that is done. Many still do not believe that after everything for which we have struggled, the goal is finally being realized. We want to share all this joy and happiness with everyone, and we ask the Family and all its members to join this conquest to attract more and more people so that they will know the Queen who will waiting for them with open arms on November 8th. For that reason the Blessed Mother will not stay in Tierra Joven waiting for the date of the blessing; rather she will visit parishes, schools, offices, and she will enter all the homes of the families who want to welcome her. Beloved Schoenstatters it is not enough to have a Shrine. Now that the Blessed Mother is in Curicó, we must continue to strive. Our work is still not finished. Perhaps it will be easier having her close, since we have to continue working for a better world. The Schoenstatters from Curicó invite everyone to be a part of this beautiful mission and to experience this wonderful time together. |
