The 10^th birthday on October 18, 2008 of the Schoenstatt Pilgrim Mother Campaign for at-risk babies and children

ARGENTINA, Martha Liotti. This year on the 18^th of October the Schoesntatt Pilgrim Mother Campaign for Infants and Children whose lives are at risk, also known as the "Little Campaign," will celebrate its 10^th birthday. Always faithful "Nothing without You, and Nothing without Us," the missionaries of this facet of the Rosary Campaign take this mission on knowing with the Covenant of Love it is Mary who covers and fortifies their mission, who comforts and gives it hope.

This past December there were many little ones in desperate situations. The surgeons said it would take a miracle to save them. Nahi, little Thomas, Milagros, Santiaguito, Iris, Selena, and Aylen waited for a miracle… The missionaries from Corrientes, Argentina knew it was Mary’s moment. So like Father Kentenich, who during days of hunger in the concentration camp of Dachau put all his confidence in Her, crowning Her, Queen of Bread, we were committed to crown Her as Queen of Life.

The Miracle of Life

In the Covenant Mass on December 18, 2007 at the Church of the Child Jesus of Corrientes, in an emotional ceremony made up of the whole Schoenstatt Family, we crowned the new pilgrim images for the babies and children who are at risk in this city. With this coronation they initiated the ten-year jubilee of the Little Campaign.

"The crowned Mother of God is the most powerful," said John Pozzobon.

She is glorified… in Christmas… next to Jesus, in the manger of each home, there was a new child celebrating your birth with parents full of gratitude and hope.

They shared the coronation speech with all the missionaries of the Little Campaign, and all who knew a baby or child fighting for life:

As missionaries of this facet of the Schoenstatt Pilgrim Mother Rosary Campaign we come this afternoon to crown Her as Queen of Life. ‘The crowned Mother of God is the most powerful,’ said Don Joao. With this confidence, we place ourselves in his steps.

We bring everyone with us in our hearts, all the children here today and tomorrow fighting for their lives. We beg you to glorify the will of the Father with the grace necessary to live. Mother, we say to you: ‘Receive the crown.’
