Do not forget family, that your father was a prophet. Do not forget Zion, that your father was a prophet. Do not forget, community, federation, and league that your father was a prophet. Prophetic father with a big mission. Do not forget, that is, remember, so that this memory will awaken you, so that this memory will stimulate you, so that in memory of your prophet you will never become discouraged which is so typical of this world, of this time, in the defeatist resignation of many.

May the loving memory of your prophet father always raise you anew. Do not become disappointed by anything that you see, do not become disappointed in yourself nor in your worldwide family, in any part of it, nor in any discussion or disappointment. The spirit is He that makes us loyal: Do not forget that your father was a prophet. May the memory of your Father awaken you, make you very simple, very courageous, just like your Father, make you love and be a prophet for the Church, misunderstood but respectful, always loving.

I will let Father Kentenich speak about this subject:

"Everything depends on the fulfillment of once again orienting ourselves to the old fervor of joy for sacrifice and of the impulse of conquest of our vision for the future. If we do not accomplish this, perhaps we can conquer the consent of the most strict groups of the church, to be seen and heard with joy, praised as sensible, open to the world, lovers of culture, and of a broad criteria, but at the end, we would seem – we and our community – like an eagle who wants to fly again towards the sun with torn wings. Our best era may have passed, the gravedigger would be digging and soon the burial will take place. The ideals of our youth may have been a dream, and the church will lament before the coffin of a young community that at one time encouraged the highest hopes but it failed. May God protect us from this tragic fate! May he raise men and women in our ranks, who like the prophets of old, will sweep the dry leaves of the old structures like a hurricane, may they call us to the struggle without ceasing and may they set the highest demands for themselves and others."

This was the prophet, this was the Father. He perceived that this vocation had to be assumed day by day and it had to be carried out here and now, so as not to fall into mediocrity applauded by all but in end they were disloyal to the mission. A family that is strong because it is in solidarity within is well prepared for the final struggles. Sometimes we get tired and sometimes we are overcome with euphoria and other times in personal weakness and in the greatness that the Father lives.

Family, son, daughter, do not forget that your Father was a prophet! You also participate in his charism. The new Pentecost is neither a poster nor a sign; within and behind him God is present and each of us with all of our weaknesses, but also with all our willingness so that from this new Pentecost a renewed mission, family will emerge, and that the Prophet Father will emerge revived. And all of this for what? For the glory of the Father, for the glory of the Son, and for the joy and happiness of those who are children in the Son and for the glory of the Holy Spirit. So be it. Amen.

(Father Horacio Sosa, 1992)
