USA, Barbara Brennan. Excitement is building in the Schoenstatt family in the heartland of the USA. Much work and striving has been accomplished since groundbreaking on May 28, 2007.
The cornerstone for the shrine was blessed in a ceremony on September 16, 2007, and inscribed with the words In Corde Mariae Diligimus Ecclesiam (In the heart of Mary, we love the church).
Workmen are busy and it’s inspiring to see the changes each day. Much striving is still needed in order to be ready for the shrine blessing in just two weeks. Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Fabian W. Bruskewitz, Saturday, November 17, 2007, 1:00 p.m.
The Schoenstatt Family of Nebraska trust the MTA will see to it that pilgrims coming to attend the first USA shrine blessing in 30 years will not be disappointed.
The mission of our Cor Mariae Schoenstatt shrine is to educate the every day saint; to call hearts to Mary and to be the heart of Mary for the Church and world.
