USA, Luis and Teresita Pérez. Families belonging to the Institute of Families’ Delegation of USA/Puerto Rico met at the Schoenstatt International Center in Waukesha, Wisconsin for their annual convention. It was a very blessed week. They had the great joy of having with them their General Superior of the Family, Bernhard & Elisabeth Neiser, and their spiritual advisor, Fr. Horacio Sosa.
At the Exile Shrine, they celebrated the 65th anniversary of the Institute’s founding, renewed their contract-consecration, and received the great gift of the new Family Book. During the convention, the Institute’s crowning on August 5, 2006, at the end of the General Chapter, was remembered. The families renewed the crowning of the Mother and Queen as Filia Grata Regina Exilii meaning Child full of gratitude, Queen of the Exile, her title in this Delegation.
Their spiritual advisor, Fr. Horacio Sosa, gave them new spiritual strength during the convention through his talks and advice. The families also had the opportunity to visit the holy sites of Father’s Exile by following in his footsteps.
