COSTA RICA, Michelle Ramirez. In the Schoenstatt family of Costa Rica, everyone is "desperate" to conquer their future Shrine, for love of the Mother Thrice Admirable of Schoenstatt. Each month the Family Movement with great longings and much patience go on a trip to visit the Blessed Mother at a small wayside shrine that was built when they donated the land located at Tres Rios, in the province of Cartago…

This month Group Number 5 of the Family Movement, Mary’s Tigers (those who leave footprints, those who do not abandon their children until they are adults and who travel in herds, that is, always as a Family), visited the grounds on Sunday, June 24, placing all their dreams and hopes in the hands of the Thrice Admirable Queen!

The vegetation, the fresh climate surrounded by trees hundreds of years old, the mountains of the "Shrine" are very much like Schoenstatt!

It reminds them of "this land" that our Father Kentenich loved… "like heaven itselfThis wonderland is known to me: It is the meadow radiantly lit…" - "It is my home, My Schoenstatt land!"

Claudia Quiróos de Solis says, "It was truly a beautiful experience. The Blessed Mother convoked us and we attended…it was a beautiful day, and the place is simply gorgeous. The presence of God and the Blessed Mother is truly felt. What a very lovely place surrounded by Nature!!! We prayed a rosary as a family…it was a super special Sunday…"

The Schoenstatt Family of Costa Rica hopes to build a Shrine soon, which will not only be the first one in their country; rather it will be the first one in all of Central America.
