ARGENTINA, Maria Silvina Rocca. During this time of Christmas, the Rosary Campaign of the Vicarship of Belgrano took the Pilgrim MTA to those most in need of accompaniment: the elderly and children who are ill.

During Christmas they visited two nursing homes along with the Auxiliary. The grandparents welcomed them with open arms. Accompanied by the Blessed Mother they gave much affection, prayers, companionship, and joy. They gave little bottles of holy water, rosaries and individual pieces of sweet bread. They also went to the Institute of Children’s Cardiology, where they accompanied the parents of the little children who are patients, to whom they gave clothes, toys, rosaries and holy water.

Accompanied a child

A little girl (that can be seen in one of the photos), the little sister of a baby who is intensive care, embraced the picture of the Blessed Mother and without the missionaries realizing it, she took it to the feet of the bed of the three babies who are patients on the first floor of the Institute of Cardiology and she greeted them embracing the picture of the Pilgrim MTA. They could not overcome their surprise: the little girl was the instrument to take the Blessed Mother to all the rooms. The missionaries were prohibited to enter so they greeted the parents from the door. But nothing is impossible for the Blessed Mother. She goes where no one else can and she does it accompanied by a child.

"The soul is enriched and full of joy" where pleasant moments are shared with those most in need…We hope that no one lacks the time or the desire to help, in the world in which we live where many times we are late or we miss the best part", one of the missionaries summarized.

Hands willing to help

The Schoenstatt Movement, through the Rosary Campaign of the Vicarship of Belgrano, will go out on pilgrimage to the places where hands that are willing to help are most needed, without measuring distances.

God wants our small contribution to give it to everyone who needs it, beyond uniting us as an Apostolic Movement, with our values and ideals for them to last and to be maintained - in spite of all the daily complications – through the intercession of our Mother Thrice Admirable Queen of Schoenstatt.

We are going through more roads; the only thing that is needed is a bag full of joy, prayer, work and time…
