BRAZIL, jumas/mca. A Camp for Group 2 of the Pioneers of Itambaracá(Group Puer et Pater and Knights of Schoenstatt) was held on December 9th and 10, 2006

The camp took place at the Rosseto Ranch, organized by the leaders, Eduardo Romero and André Francisco Ribeiro with the help of other allies. Father Celso Miqueli celebrated the Mass and he formed part of the tribune of homage. It was a tranquil and very well organized encounter with competitions, tests of bravery, a treasure hunt, a bonfire and everything that usually takes places in the camps.

A very unique presence and accompaniment in the camp

During the camp Mass they had the honor of receiving the PILGRIM MTA FOR THE HEROIC YOUTH that will remain in Itambaracá for three weeks. The young men prayed the Christmas Novena in its presence; there were vigils, a pilgrimage and a Mass. The Pilgrim MTA of Heroic Youth was conquered by Joao Pozzobon, himself; it was "rediscovered" by the Boys’ Youth in 2005, after they returned from the World Youth Journey in Germany, and during the time of preparation for its Golden Anniversary that was celebrated in November 2006; since then it has traveled to different groups.

The experience of the youth is summarized in a single prayer: The Blessed Mother is helping JUMAS more each day in Itambaracá, Paraná.

John Pozzobon himself, relates its history

In the book 140,000 kilometers walking with the Blessed Mother, by Father Esteban Uriburu, Joao, himself, relates the birth of this special Pilgrim MTA: It emerged after Joao returned from his trip to Germany. After a series of circumstances, it was built with a picture of the Blessed Mother that was given by Palottine Seminary. It did not have a definite mission: "One day I was sitting in the living room, and I had an inspiration, I even imagined the entire picture, how it should be made: right then, I went to the Brothers, and I gave them all the information. A small chapel was built, that was a little different, and a splinter from the World War was placed on it that had the meaning of the Heroic Youth". The meaning of having a splinter from the First World War encrusted on it is a reminder of the sodalists, who were Schoenstatt heroes, and who struggled heroically for their personal sanctification while fighting in that conflict.

Also in the book Pilgrim and missionary of Mary Father Esteban refers to this picture: When he wrote to Brother Germano he spoke to him about his new initiatives: the wayside shrines and about another Pilgrim MTA that carries a new spirit, the spirit of Joseph Engling, for a heroic youth. Its title is "Mother and Queen of Schoenstatt, Source and Road of Heroes. Do not count on life to live.

Mere coincidence or chance that in Joao as well as in JUMAS this very strong attachment with the Pilgrim of Heroic Youth emerged upon his return from Original Schoenstatt? In Schoenstatt we know that nothing happens by chance, rather by "chance" designed by Providence. So from this we hope, with complete certainty, that the Boys’ Youth from Brazil will conquer great fruits and blessing in the coming years – that comes from the growth that has occurred since its attachment with the Pilgrim MTA of Heroic Youth in numbers as well at the level of commitment and giving of self.
