ENGLAND, mkf. "When Joao Pozzobon began taking Mary’s picture from the shrine in Santa Maria, Brazil, to the people around..., he wanted to give Mary all the sacrifices he made, and all the prayers he said, as he carried her picture to the people, so that she could give them the graces they needed to discover how much God and the Blessed Mother loved them… He discovered that Mary wasn’t going to wait for people to come to her in the shrine; she wanted to go out to them, as she had done at the Visitation, and bring her son into their lives. We have been drawn into this apostolate…", reads the recent Pilgrim Mother Newsletter from England. Steve and Eppie Clark are one of the couples "drawn into this apostolate".

Steve Clark's wife, Eppie, a Filippino, is a lecturer at Warwick University. Eppie and Steve Clark just started to bring the Pilgrim MTA to students and colleagues at Warwick University. Two pictures of the Pilgrim Mother are on the Warwick Campus in the Lakeside staff accomodation block

"These go round eight families", shares Steve, "staying with each for one week . One group consists of four Korean families, and other group is ourselves, one Mexican , one French and one English family. These pictures have made 2-3 circuits already. One picture has gone to Kenilworth, a small village in Warwickshire where we used to live, and will be passed around four people/families there, they attend St Francis Church. One picture is circulating amongst five Filippino families in the Tile Hill area of Coventry, also just started.

The remaining picture is at present "without portfolio" , been on a couple of 'one-off' outings; Eppie hopes to identify a few Catholic faculty members for this one..watch this space..

The Lakeside families came together a couple of weeks back at the chaplaincy in the university on a Sunday afternoon , with the pictures, plenty of food and a talk by Fr Prem, the university chaplain who is from Sri Lanka.

The students also have a couple of pictures going round as well…"

The Pilgrim Mother is just starting her Visitation in England, but seems she is determined to go on …
