PARAGUAY, Nelson Avezada Girett. The Schoenstatt Apostolic Movement will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Shrine of Tuparenda next October 18th; for which the Paraguayan Postal Service has issued a commemorative stamp. The stamp has the inscription "Nation of God, heart of America". The Postal Service jubilantly joins the celebrations with a stamp for 700 guaranies with the picture of the National Shrine of Tuparenda.. The Blessed Mother of Schoenstatt with the red, white, and blue colors of the Paraguayan flag are on the front side – as a sign of gratitude of the children of this land that she generously protected. As of now the commemorative stamps travel throughout the world adhered to the correspondence, with the picture of the Blessed Mother that works miracles, especially spiritual ones. The message of the Blessed Mother converted into a heaven open to love, fraternity, change, and conversionDuring the official presentation of the stamp, Father Antonio Cosp, National Director of the Movement, placed great value on the fact that the correspondence that goes out from Paraguay through the continents, will carry the message of the Blessed Mother converted in a heaven open of love, fraternity, change, and conversion. The Director of the Postal Service of Paraguay, Atilio Viera, after emphazizing the importance of the Covenant of Love, informed, that 25,000 stamps have been issued and from this day on are in circulation. Next October 18th, Tuparenda (dwelling of God) will welcome some 50,000-100,000 Marian pilgrims, from different points of the country, seeking special graces. The Schoenstatt Movement of Paraguay was born in the year 1959, but the great milestone of its history is the blessing of the National Shrine of Tuparenda, on October 18, 1981.
