ARGENTINA, jlr. A very special experience took place between the celebration of Father’s passing to heaven and Covenant Day on September 17^th at the Shrine of Rosario –Santa Fe – Argentina.

The annual celebration of the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign was held within the framework of some 500 people from different areas of the Archdiocese of Rosario, all are members, who carry out this mission in the archdiocese. It was touching to witness the Covenant of Love of 66 missionaries and the commissioning of 27 new Pilgrim MTA.s along with 7 small Pilgrim MTA’s for children, events that were experienced in a profound atmosphere of joy and fraternity. "Today my daughter, María Belén received the Pilgrim MTA of Schoenstatt, as the first little missionary from Rosario", says Sandra López. "María Bélen will be 10 years old in October, and she has taken this commitment that she officially assumed today very seriously and with much enthusiasm and love.. María Bélen is taking her first steps in the Movement along with a group of little girls, who will form the Girls’ Youth of the future. I ask for much prayer for this new mission in the life of María Bélen, so that this Pilgrim MTA will reach every home and every family, where she is needed, through the children."

Springtime force

Before the Holy Mass a young lady from the Branch of Professionals, Esther Ioffrida, gave a warm talk about our Father and about the beautiful mission that we will receive. This conference was highlighted by the homily of the archdiocesan advisor for the Campaign, Father Daniel Lozano, based on the Encyclical of our Holy Father Benedict XVI, God is Love, to clearly outline our apostolic action in the missionary sphere. The exclusive choir from the area of Cañada de Gómez, a city with a beautiful MTA wayside shrine, sang during the Mass.

The new advisor belongs to the Institute of the Schoenstatt Diocesan Priests, and he is among other things an educator within his priestly community. He was welcomed with much joy and the rejoicing of everyone present who confirmed his appointment with an extended applause. He has a very big task ahead of him by virtue of the "springtime force" (in this hemisphere)- with the growth which developing through this authentic Marian tool for the transformation of the world.

92^nd Anniversary of the first Covenant of Love.

The celebration ended with a brief greeting from the Rector of the Shrine, the Reverend Father Darío Gatti, who invited all the missionaries to visit the Shrine more often, which is the source of grace, and he informed them that next October 18^th, the Archbishop of Rosario, Monsignor José Luis Mollaghan will preside over the Eucharist of the 92^nd Anniversary of the first Covenant of Love.
