INTERNATIONAL, Daniela Ibarolla/Luza Gonzales. The news last week of the Felipe’s death was a time of shock and meditation, mixed feelings, of so many memories for us and we tried to figure out what the Blessed Mother wanted to tell us .

As volunteers of the Project Office in Schoenstatt Germany, the last year was full of activities and a time of learning for us, to organize an event of this size is not easy, more that a challenge it was a great gift that the Blessed Mother gave us, to live with and to welcome the thousands of youth of all the world united by one heart, a Covenant of Love. To renew the Covenant 90 years after the First Founding Document not for ourselves rather for all the youth of the world was a great experience. To relive that moment where 3,000 youth sealed a Covenant of Love in front of the Original Shrine marked our lives from that moment with such a simple phrase but with so much meaning: "You and I for Them".

Thank you, Felipe

Today with the news of Felipe’s departure, our Covenant brother; we know that the Blessed Mother has called us to go out of the profound sadness and sorrow for the absence of our brother, it is also a satisfaction to be able to say that a new Schoenstatt Heroe has been born.

Thank You Felipe for being an example for us, for knowing that the Covenant of Love for the youth of the world is now in God’s hands thanks to You.

Thank you Felipe, for continuing to be A Heroe today, not tomorrow, from heaven

Thank you Felipe, for remembering that today, we are "you and me for them".

But above all Thank you because with your life and example we know that "Our Covenant of Love is our Way to Christ".

We are united as a family from more than 33 countries

To our aunt and uncle (his parents) and our brothers we offer our prayers, unity and affection. We are committed to a Covenant and know that from more than 33 countries we are united to your family. Especially from Mexico we want to express our love, our solidarity and our sorrow. Know that you are always welcome and we hold you profoundly in our hearts, especially in these moments that we know are difficult. We express our condolences to the Vera Meier Family, for the loss of their son Felipe.

Felipe: "You and Me for them."

Some time ago we sang a great hymn and today we have to put it into practice: With heroism and faith we carry your cross, we will be the youth who will inflame the world again.

For Felipe, our friend and brother let us inflame the world to live in holiness - Daniela Ibarolla and Luza Gonzales, Mexico
