INDIA, Rosa y Eduardo Aymerich. God has given each one of us - without exception - a very specific mission: a mission for our life. A missionary is a person who discovers his mission and then carries it out. He is a person who in faith courageously follows God’s plan, no matter what the cost. Being a missionary is about searching for the will of God Our Father, His desire, and then working towards achieving it. This means following His plans even if it implies "a complete turn around of mind, heart and will".

Christ sent his apostles to spread his word throughout the world. Since then, many saints have evangelised the world...through their own lives. It was the early Christians, who were first to live the true Christian mission by bringing Jesus into the life of all the people they met.

Since then, from time to time throughout history, this spirit has been reawakened and now the Holy Spirit is inspiring a desire to rediscover this apostolic spirit in many hearts; the dream of bringing Christ’s light to the world. It is no coincidence that today, God has chosen the Spanish Schoenstatt Family, to awaken the same longing and give an answer to the real needs of today’s world. He has whispered in the many hearts and now they want to offer an answer to the world’s needs... Different projects, such as, the creation of a new school, bringing Schoenstatt’s spirit to the poorest parishes, helping in the foundation of the movement in other parts of the world, as well as in other parts of Spain are only a few of the initiatives that are beginning in our Family.

What does God expect from us?

Shortly after our marriage we both felt out hearts stirred by the question: "What does God expect from us?" "What kind of marriage does He want of us?", "What type of mission has He planned for us?"... After many months of prayer and searching for the answer, this year He spoke to us clearly and now we will be working in India with the Schoenstatt’s Family.

However, this is not meant to be an exception in our lives. What we are doing is an answer to our ardent desire, for our own way of marriage and of family life. We want to model the life of the Holy Family of Nazareth. They were the first missionary family, the family with the greatest mission of all times who gave Christ to the world.

By our imitating the Holy Family we make it possible for all those people, who God sends to our home, an opportunity to meet Jesus.

India

At the present time God has given us a huge present: we are expecting a child, who will be born in seven months time in India, God willing.

This new dimension in our lives means so much to us and a carries with it a great deal of responsibility. This will help us to live our dream, our mission, and our desire of being a family of saints, more intensely than ever.
