PARAGUAY, Nancy Duarte de Bordon. Smiles of the Blessed Mother: is the ideal of a group of ladies, who are no longer so young, from Cuidad del Este. They sealed their Covenant of Love within the context of the 5th Anniversary of the Homeland Shrine. Father Beltran Gomez, who was ordained the week before, presided over the Covenant of Love ceremony.

Mrs. Alberta’s testimony:

"The Grandmother"

"It is not necessary to know everything about Schoenstatt, it is enough that we want the Blessed Mother to take our heart". Father Riva said this phrase a few days before our Covenant of Love, it was as if he was telling each one of us, "Blessed Mother, your love is enough". And that is how we feel: like happy, like little daughters. The Blessed Mother received us through the hands of her son Beltran, who experienced presiding over the Covenant of Love ceremony for the first time on that day. He received our Covenants, blessed our candles and medals and sent as out to the world as Schoenstatt Mothers. Now, Father Kentenich, who we want to know more each day, is eagerly waiting for us. Thank you Blessed Mother because you received us in your heart. In our group, many of us are alone, without our spouses, and she takes us by the hand and with confidence she tells us: "This Covenant is for always. Amen."

Testimony of Nancy Duarte de Bordon, leader of the Mothers’ Branch:

"The granddaughter"

"I have seen my grandmother pray the rosary for such a long time, she spoke to the Blessed Mother and she accompanied me on trips since I was small and she was there in my youth. And today, after so many years I received a gift from the Blessed Mother: The gift of my mother’s and grandmother’s Covenant of Love, along with all their companions of the Group: Smiles of the Blessed Mother, among them some of my teachers, and aunts.

It is beautiful to see how Schoenstatt grows! And how it conquers the hearts of those we love so much.

They were all happy, some were apprehensive, others had meditated since early morning. They also opted for their lives to be worthwhile and for Christ, through the Blessed Mother, to reign in their homes and to conquer their families,

In this way we will continue to form this new community.

Congratulations to all the Mothers, who are no longer alone.
