CHILE, Patricia de Ahumada. This year all the families with Home Shrines were invited once again to take their picture of the Blessed Mother to the Schoenstatt Shrine. Little by little, they began to arrive and they remained in the place of encounter with Father Kentenich all night. They wanted to express gratitude for this beautiful gift that unfolded in Milwaukee, the city where he blessed the first Home Shrine. All of the Home Shrines were offered together in the daughter Shrine- "Son of the Father, for a Marian Holy Land". This Shrine is united to the Original Shrine in Schoenstatt, Germany. The following day a beautiful mosaic was created using all of the pictures from each Home Shrine. The mosaic was arranged inside the Shrine close to the Blessed Mother. They petitioned Our Lady to fill each one with renewed strength from the Shrine, which is the source of great grace.

That afternoon Father Raul Arcila celebrated Holy Mass after which many families processed to the Shrine. All of them were willing to include many prayers, increase their striving for everyday sanctity, and offer their work as a contribution to the Capital of Grace. Then the ceremony of the renewal of the consecration of the Home Shrines was held. The event ended with the consecration to the Blessed Mother. Everyone held hands to form a chain that symbolized the network of Shrines that they want to weave in the world. It was also a renewal of the meaning of each Home Shrine. For them this emphasizes their willingness to always give their best contributions in order to develop a new society and to build a civilization of love, especially during these difficult times. It was all done in an atmosphere of great faith, joy, and spirituality.

It was beautiful gift close to October 18th, which is such an important date for everyone. It is the day of the Covenant of Love.
