ARGENTINA, Silvia Losada. September 8^th: feast day of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. She could not have chosen a better day to stay forever among the sick and the employees of the Angel C. Padilla Hospital in Tucumán, Argentina.

Could it be by chance? I would say so. Everything was running behind scheduled and yet completed just in time to celebrate two important events in our Marian style of living. On the 8^th of September, the Blessed Mother’s Wayside Shrine was blessed in the already mentioned assistance center. This was the initiative of Claudio Martínez F., Joaquín Santiviago and Manuel López Naón – "our" novices of the Schoenstatt Fathers – from Chile, Paraguay, and Argentina. This was their experience of social service in this hospital. Blessed Mother travels the halls and rooms sheltering, transforming, and setting hearts on fire.

Since she is always at the side of those who suffer, she chose to stay in that Wayside Shrine in the garden in front of the Chapel where her Son is. Always together!

A seed which falls on fertile ground

It will not be Manu, Joaquín, nor Claudio who will continue their missionary activity with the Pilgrim Images in rooms 3, 8 and 10. They, like the Magi, must follow the star that leads them permanently to Jesus.

Blessed Mother will accompany them on their path, in the small pilgrim images which the Rosary Campaign entrusted to them so that they continue the route of Joao Pozzobon.

The Virgin took care to choose other arms and other lips in that same house to continue traveling through the hospital seeking her sick children who wait for her and are comforted with her presence.

The novices planted the seed which fell on fertile ground. It is possible that they may not witness the harvest.

Spring approaches and from those seeds beautiful plants will come forth which will blossom and bear the fruits of surrender, love, and service. True instruments of Mary!
